| | Lexmark 8350 Photo Card save to computer I am running Vista Home Premium, 6.0, SP1. I have a Lexmark 8350 that has been running fine. Today I decided to use the Photo Card reading capability on the Lexmark. I put an xD photo card in and the printer read it fine, allowed me to view and print photos from the printer LCD screen. However, when I try to "save to computer" I have problems. It brings up the interface window on the computer with the message "Cannot detect photo card inserted". Which is odd, since the card is definitely inserted with the photos being read by the printer. Any ideas? -- okedoke1234 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ okedoke1234's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/okedoke1234.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-print-fax/1087541.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

| | Re: Lexmark 8350 Photo Card save to computer Right click on My Computer, select Manage. On the next screen, select Disk Management. Does the card reader show up... if so, does it have a drive letter? If not, assign one. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging www.coribright.com/windows "okedoke1234" <okedoke1234.3kfarc@xxxxxx> wrote in message news kedoke1234.3kfarc@xxxxxxQuote: > > I am running Vista Home Premium, 6.0, SP1. | | Re: Lexmark 8350 Photo Card save to computer I realize that, I have Canon inkjets that have the same feature. However, I can still assign a drive letter. They are drives, after all, just removable ones. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging www.coribright.com/windows "okedoke1234" <okedoke1234.3kle7b@xxxxxx> wrote in message news kedoke1234.3kle7b@xxxxxxQuote: > > The card reader is built into the Lexmark. > > > -- > okedoke1234 > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > okedoke1234's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/okedoke1234.htm > View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-print-fax/1087541.htm > > http://forums.techarena.in > |
