Windows Fax is not available in Vista Home Premium. If you don't want to
upgrade to Ultimate (rather silly to spend so much for just one thing), use
third-party software. Some people have reported good results with Snappy
Fax.

Re: Setting up fax

Thanks Malke,

I must say that I,m a bit disapointed that it isn't included but I'll give Snappy a try.

Thanks again,

Rickpo.

Re: Setting up fax

For those with Vista Home or Basic, there are a number of alternatives:

Snappy Fax

RKSFax

VentaFax
http://www.ventafax.com/
FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro 7.5

I've seen reports that the free version of BVRP works with Vista also:

http://www.usr.com/bvrp/bvrp.asp
BVRP PhoneTools

Since the above comes bundled with new USR modems, I don't know if it will
work with non-USR modems. You can also send Faxes via your Internet
connection provided you are willing to pay for an Internet E-Faxing service:
