Vista - Epson Stylus 1280 & Vista printing issues

My wife has an Epson Stylus Photo 1280 printer. We installed the driver from Vista the issue she is having is she cannot go into the printing preferences to change the size (change the margins) it will not allow here. She prints true 12x12's and under Vista it will not allow her to change these setting under XP no problems.
I was able to set a user defined 12x12 paper size. It is not listed as an option to print through the Windows Photo Gallery. And I can’t print it through my Memory Mixer software, it wants to change the dimensions and then it only prints a little square right in the middle of the page.

Any help on this would be great

verify the customsize setting is the same on Vista and XP.
Open the GPD for the printer in notepad (look on the install CD or on XP
with the driver installed under \windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3)

I have absolutely no issue with my 1280 across a wireless network using
printer sharing on the computer it is hooked up to. I print from both Vista
32 bit and XP 32 bit systems.

according to Epsons web site the driver listed is for the 64bit version of Vista my wife has the 32bit version of Vista home. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Epson last night with no luck. If you have the driver for vista an you email them to me info@carshowdisplay.com
