Printer communication problem in x64 resolved

Hi:
Just a quick post to report that after three days of trying to get my Canon i9100 to communicate with any program whatsoever, I discovered the USB Filter loaded when I set up my ATI drivers was the culprit -- uninstalling the USB filter has left me a happy camper, with a fully functional printer.
Just wish someone else had discovered this ahead of me (or reported it) so a quick search (lazy me) would have brought the solution to me
bst

Re: Printer communication problem in x64 resolved

Hi:
I opened Control Panel > Uninstall Programs > Chose the ATI Catalyst entry
Then, when it opened, I chose Uninstall, Custom and then chose USB Filter.
Once that was uninstalled, my printer again worked.
Did this in both an old installation of x64 and a clean install on a new drive and it worked both times.
Hope this helps
