| | Installing Driver Scanjet 3800 - Help I am trying to install the Scanjet 3800 driver in one PC with Vista Starter and one Notebook with Vista Home Premium. In both cases the installing process stops with a message asking for login as administrator. As a matter of fact in both computers I am logged as administrator. I downloaded drivers from HP homepage for Windows Vista. HP says it is a system problem, and I am for months trying to solve the problem. Could anybody help me? |

This is the fifth time you have asked this question today, and two of your previous times, you got answers. You're obviously having problems with the web site. This isn't a web-based forum; it's a newsgroup. The reason you're having such problems is that you are using the awful web interface to participate in this newsgroup--it's the slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone method of using the newsgroups there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows XP, or Windows Mail, which comes with Vista.
