Network printers on Vista with SP2

Hello!

When trying to add a network printer on Vista with service pack 2, I get the
error 0x00000022 and the installation is aborted. There are no events in the
event log. A Windows 2008 server is the print server.

On clients with SP1 it works perfectly. The problem is independent of the
printer or the printer driver.

Does anyone have the same problem or know a solution?

Best,
Christian

Re: Network printers on Vista with SP2

the client won't log any events other driver installs and spooler
terminations when making a connection. This is the error

winerror 0x00000022
34 ERROR_WRONG_DISK <--> 0xc0000012 STATUS_WRONG_VOLUME

is the server x86 or x64? Have you applied SP2 to the print server?
