| Guest | How can I rename the name of a Scanner? hello, It is easy to rename a printer by just right-clicking and selecting "Rename". But what about Scanners? I installed my new multifunction printer today and I have been able to rename the printers as I want. But when I run Windows Fax and Scan, the scanner names listed are NOT what I want to see. For example, "Brother <model number> LAN" and "Brother <model number>" for the network and local connections, respectively. Is it possible for me to rename the scanner these entries to something that I like; for example, "Brother Scanner Network" and "Brother Scanner Local"? I'm running Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Thanks! |
