| | Re: Migrate XP Fax to Vista Fax Thanks DL however, this solution only creates a archive copy. I cannot import it into Vista FAX. There is no import feature in Vista FAX and Scan. Archived FAXes can only be viewed as a .TIF file. -- DeltPC "DL" wrote: Quote: > I 'believe' you have to archive your folders, then import each archive in > turn on the new PC > > "DeltPC" <DeltPC@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news:AE26B34A-13DB-4A58-A6BE-CA7B9515805B@xxxxxx Quote: > > How can I migrate, copy, import, et el all of my fax files in Window XP > > for > > use and viewing in Vista Fax? > > -- > > DeltPC > > |

| | Re: Migrate XP Fax to Vista Fax Thank you very much for you reply. This link did exactly what I needed. You may want to update the information on Windows Vista Ultimate Fax file location as ----(Local Disk)\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax\ This may be the same for Vista Business. Check it out Thanks Again and Happy Computing -- DeltPC "DL" wrote: Quote: > I 'believe' you have to archive your folders, then import each archive in > turn on the new PC > > "DeltPC" <DeltPC@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news:AE26B34A-13DB-4A58-A6BE-CA7B9515805B@xxxxxx Quote: > > How can I migrate, copy, import, et el all of my fax files in Window XP > > for > > use and viewing in Vista Fax? > > -- > > DeltPC > > |

| | Re: Migrate XP Fax to Vista Fax The path on Vista partitions is a little different, but like you, most users have gotten used to those differences and figure it out pretty quickly. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "DeltPC" <DeltPC@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:0B552C32-C4D3-429B-B3F9-E0D7ACB1DC64@xxxxxx Quote: > Thank you very much for you reply.
