Error adding oemui sample printer in Vista RC1

Hi, I am getting the following error report when adding the OEM UI
Customization Sample (Unidrv) printer. I compiled OEMUI.dll using WDK RC1
with Vista x86 free build enviroment, and left all the files where they are
in the sample directories, trying to install from the oemui.inf file. I am
logged in as an administrator so I expect an unsigned driver should not be a
problem for me, yet it says in the error about a problem signature. Please
help...

No clue but I asked someone else. Here is their response.

My initial guess is that it is probably because they didn't build all the
binaries that are referenced by oemui.inf. This is a change from XP in that
you need to build all files referenced by an INF whether you are actually
installing them or not. You also need to make sure that the files are placed
in the right path according to the SourceDisksFiles section in the INF. On
XP you would get a popup allowing you to browse to a file. But on Vista, you
get nothing...just an error.

Re: Error adding oemui sample printer in Vista RC1

That was the correct assessment, thank you very much. I compiled all the
source in the oemdll directory, and the printer I wanted installed. (my
mistake, the inf file is oemdll.inf).
