Vista - Cant get scanner working correctly

I have a medion scanner. I have installed the drivers and in control p-anel
it says its working correctly. Although when i load Windows Fax and Scan and
click the preview/ Scan button I get an error.

An error occured whilesetting scanner properties. If another program s
scanning, please wait ffor it to complete and try again.

I am not using any other program and it worked when i was using vista beta2,
its only since i upgraded to vista rc1.

Anyone have an idea how i can repair the problem, thanks

Probably broken... my canon worked with beta2 and has been broken ever since
with RC1 and up. We can just hope drivers will get released to the public
for RTM drivers although will they work with the beta builds, who knows.

Not sure what is ment by broken. Its is a software problem with rc1. Its
works good with xp.
