PA Bear sent me. Printer won't work when UAC enabled.

O/S Vista Home Basic 32 bit. Dell v305w AIO printer.
I was having some IE script errors which also caused my printer not to
print. MS MVP, PA Bear helped me fix the problems over in IE group. So the
printer works now, however, it will ONLY work when UAC is disabled NOT when
UAC is turned on.
I'm not exactly sure how important UAC is to me as there is only 1 computer
& 1 printer in the house, both are wireless & I am the only one who knows
how to use the computer. So, if I don't really need to use UAC then this
post is moot, but if I really DO need to use UAC then I need help to figure
out the problem.
In my attempts to fix all the problems earlier I may have even changed
something somewhere which has resulted in this quirk. But it has been a long
road & I can't even remember all the processes I went through so I can't
back track much less tell you what I may or may not have done.
I'm still trying to learn so please keep tech lingo simple. Consider me a
babe in the woods.
Thank you.
