Vista - Hewlett Packard hp psc 2410

Anybody know of any drivers I can use in Vista so that I can scan as well as
print with my HP PSC 2410 ?

I have the same exact printer and question. Reading from an italian
newsgroup someone sayd that in december HP will release a set of driver
Universal, that are indipendent from the operating systems....

We must wait, but i'm pretty sure HP will release the drivers.... it's an
office device, pretty recent and a well sold product, there is no meaning to
not release drivers...

Just so you know, the rumor that HP is releasing a universal driver for this is completely false. I've called into their support team and spoke with 2 supervisors and was finally told that scanning will not and will never work in Vista. This is sad news for me, because I had to go out and buy a new scanner, I hate HP.

In the end, HP recommends that you buy a new printer if you really need the full functions of the product. Someone please remind me why I upgraded to Vista when XP was working fine!

I can feel your pain Aquaman... I followed HP's advice to fix something and killed my XP system. Then I had to buy a Vista system only to find out my perfectly fine psc 2410 will not scan the way it used to. Must now go through a bunch of menu picks or buy a new printer/scanner... Hp is wonderful..
