Vista - Can’t print or print preview from IE7

Hi

I get the following errors when I try to print from IE7 on Vista 64 RTM

Cannot find ‘file:///D:/Temp/Low/********.htm’. Make sure the path or
Internet address is correct.

After that I get:

An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 2068
Char: 1
Error: Object required
Code: 0
URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.dlg

Any help appreciated

Hi

I get the following RegSvr32 error

The module "ole32.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed
with error code 0x80070005.

This is with running cmd.exe as administrator

I am having the same problem and I did successfully complete the
registration of the ole32.dll but am still experiencing the same issue
of not being able to print or print preview.

Any other thoughts?

Also, I noticed if I start IE7 as administrator, I don't have a problem
with the print or print preview. (Obviously, I'm running this on
Vista)

So now the question is what could be the security settings that need to
be adjusted to clear up the standard user running IE7.

Hi jstar

Just tried the run as administrator, but still cannot print. I do however
now get a print preview window.

But when I click the print icon I get this popup

'Before you can print, you need to select a printer.
If you need to install a printer, either double-click the Add Printer icon
or click the Find Printer... button located on the General tab of this
dialog.'

I highlight the printer but the Print button remains grayed out.

Also noticed the Page Setup... option does not work.

Found a workaround.
Opened IE7 (64-bit) as administrator, prints ok.
Still doesn’t work with IE7 (32-bit)

Simply setting the "full control" ntfs (for the logged in user)
permissions one the temp-folder, solved it for me.
