| | Tip for printing or adding a printer in vista For some reason vista is picky about adding printers, especially networked printers. In the past week or so I have spent hours working to get a few of my users printer back working after an upgrade. The main problem is it seems to freeze up or take excessively long to connect to network printers or copy drivers from a print server. One trick that I learned is to restart the print spooler service and it gets the printer back working as it should. I hope this helps someone. |
