Vista - Default Printer will not stick

I have Windows Vista Ultimate (6.0 Build 6000), a HP4 Laser printer, and a
HP5610 OfficeJet. Both printers will print okay. I set my default printer to
the HP4, but it keeps automatically switching back to make the HP5610 the
default. Any clues?

Probably hard coded in the driver package by HP. You might want to contact
them and ask.

Hi you all,

I got the same problem (and its not a HP Printer). i added network printers,
set one as default and after a reboot i wasn't able to set a default printer.
if i choose "Set as default Printer" nothing happens.

two post below i red that this issue has been fixed in RTM. And we are using
Windows Vista Enterprise Edition.

So do anyone know if theres a fix around?
