Vista - network printers

network printers

i have two network printers connected to a xp home pc. everytime i try to
connect to them using vista, it says: "Windows cannot connect to the
printer. Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000003)." does anyone
know what this error message means?

Chris,
I get the same error with a clean install on one machine and on an upgrade
on another machine.
If I get an answer I will post it here for you.

error 3 is network path not found.

type net view in a command window targeting the XP machine

net view \\XPMACHINE

are the print shares listed?
