| | Restart to Print I have Vista and 3 different printers connected to my computer thru a USB hub. I can print only one time, then I have to restart my computer to print. As my computer restarts, the printer prints whatever I'm waiting on immediately after Windows starts. How can I fix this to be able to actually print without restarting my computer for each document? |

| | Re: Restart to Print Sounds like the hub is unpowered..... get a powered one. Each USB port needs power, which if the hub is unpowed, comes from the PSU in the PC. The default is for the PC to stop powering the USB port if it's not in use to save power.... or because the PSU is insufficient to power everything on your motherboard and everything else you attach to it. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies - Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "David" <David@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C30AD23A-F013-4F45-ABE1-CD07178FB42E@microsoft.com... >I have Vista and 3 different printers connected to my computer thru a USB > hub. | | Re: Restart to Print The hub IS powered, and is plugged in, and I did not have this problem until I installed this monstrosity called Vista.
