| | Samsung CLP-510 I used the available XP installer for a Samsung CLP-510N (networked - LPR driver and PnP) color laser printer. When I go to print a test sheet, I will see a dialog that says the printer driver is trying to send messages but I cannot read them (without expressly asking). So, I permit view of these messages and tend to get unintelligable messages (the one I can remember had to do with unable to open a temp file). The printout comes out with black blocks over what is probably the entire "business" region of the output. The windows logo, title of the page, driver listing, etc. information is all behind black blocks. I probably need to see if there's a native Vista driver for LPR or for Samsung networked - the XP drivers from Samsung are not useful. |
