Were you trying to post in an IE General or a Vista Printing NG?
There used to be a misdirected link which caused posters
of printing issues to post here but I thought that was fixed...

In any case you are more likely to find information about both topics
there than here.

Good luck

Re: IE7 in Vista Home Premium won't print anything

Thanks for the tip I'll check that NG out. I posted here as IE7 is the only
software affected - and it is linked to UAC for this particular program.

Re: IE7 in Vista Home Premium won't print anything

It's a known HP problem (HP Printer and IE7) and there is a fix on HP's
website.

Re: IE7 in Vista Home Premium won't print anything

It must have lured in with promises of vista candy, quietly strangled,
dismembered and then buried in seven states. I can't see it after 50 minutes
of searching.

Re: IE7 in Vista Home Premium won't print anything

Bob

Thanks no. It doesn't seem to describe the problem and the download fix is
for XP not Vista. I can't see anywhere on the HP site any reference to UAC
problems with IE7 under Vista. I don't have DIrector installed even as the
Vista drivers for the HP7310 ship with RC1. Fully fledged drivers and
Director software are awaited. There is precious little info on vista on
ANY of the manufacturere's sites TBH. Oh How I wish I had bought a PC with
XP! Any readers out there considering a Vista purchase - wait another 12
months, so fools like me can find all these problems.
