| | Re: Installing WIndows Fax and Scan The Fax & Scanner program that was in XP is not included in Vista Home. If you search the posts in this newsgroup, you will see other posters buying & using programs like VueScan or SnappyFax. | | Re: Installing WIndows Fax and Scan You can't. A quick scan of this group would have turned up countless posts that tell you that Vista Home no longer includes the fax module, nor is it available separately. Apparently, Microsoft's marketers felt that only Business, Enterprise and Ultimate users would need a basic, standalone fax utility. In reality, it was primarily the Home users who ever used this program, not the business users. It would be nice if Microsoft listened to its users instead of its marketers. World peace would be nice, too. Both seem equally likely. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Dee Beall" <dbeall101@adelphia.net> wrote in message news:O2gLntZaHHA.2076@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... >I am using Vista Home Premium and it does not seem to have the Fax service >installed, how can I install it myself? |

| | Re: Installing WIndows Fax and Scan Seems like one should be able to copy the Microsoft fax program from an Ultimate installation to a Home Premium installation.
