| | Forum search not working Can you fix the search feature for this forum? It does not work at all. For example, if I enter "Lexmark" it returns no hits, even though the first post in the list in currently "Lexmark Series 910" dated 03/28/2007. Search works OK in the other forums I have tried. That's because this isn't really a forum. It's a web interface to Usenet newsgroups. The web interface is buggy, clunky, and has never worked well. I don't know any of the regulars who use it. Instead, we use real newsreaders. A newsreader is very easy to set up and your Windows Mail already has MS newsgroups in it I believe. I don't have links specific to setting up Windows Mail as a newsreader but the links below re Outlook Express will show you how. Here's the standard information: Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use Outlook Express since you already have it. | | Re: Forum search not working Thanks for the info, will look into newsreaders as time permits. Actually, the interface I'm using works seamlessly for me, except for the search feature in this one forum--search works fine in the other forums. The newsreader sounds good, though. Again, thanks.
