Re: Printer Spooler Services Stopping

The print spooler failing is almost always due to corrupted printer drivers.
Uninstall and reinstall.....

Re: Printer Spooler Services Stopping

There are no printer drivers installed, the printer is on the SBS Server

Re: Printer Spooler Services Stopping

The client has 'pulled' them over from the Server.

Re: Printer Spooler Services Stopping

So if I am understanding this point; the printer drivers on our SBS2003
Server must be Vista compatible as well? Or do get a vista one for the vista
machine only?

Re: Printer Spooler Services Stopping

Yes, they must be Vista compatible on the SBS Server as well as the Vista
client.

Re: Printer Spooler Services Stopping

HP has some drivers that check the OS version and crash when the OS version
is 6. This failure takes out the spooler on the client machine.

What model is the printer you have?
