No Fax with Vista

I run windows Vista Home Premium and can not find the "fax console", have
they forgotten about it? I want to be able to send and recieve faxes like I
could before I upgraded.

You will have to get a 3rd party fax software as Vista
Business..Ultimate..& Enterprise are the only ones
with Fax & Scan.

There are some good 3rd party programs out there,
some no-cost and other (?) reasonable cost.

Try google and search for fax software.

yes iam the same here..my winx xp does fax ..but not for vista home
edition..shame..still ive got a HP all in one came with fax software but u
still have to scan,,i want to be able to send fax from say microsoft office
,,any ideas??

Currently, the only way to add faxing to any of the Vista home editions is
via a third party application such as

My Brother multifunction machine included dirvers to fax directly from
Windows applications, however-I had to download everything for Vista from
Brother's website as the istallation CD included had not yet been updated to
include Vista. Try HP's website.
