| | Print Spooler will not start I have a windows Vista laptop and am trying to connect to a network printer. I have the RPC service and Print Spooler service set to automatic, but the print spooler service does not seem to be starting when I reboot the computer. When I manually start it, I can print once, then it will stop again. Any suggestions? |

| | Re: Print Spooler will not start Faulty or corrupt drivers is the primary reason for spooler terminations. What driver are you using anyway? If it's inbox, delete the printer and driver and reinstall. -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;[ln];kbhowto This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. | | Re: Print Spooler will not start I have checked the mfr website. They do not have a Vista driver I can download. It says that the driver is integrated into Vista. I have tried deleting and re-installing, but I continue to have the problem. |

| | Re: Print Spooler will not start Looks like JP LaserJet 1012 Version 5.60.1604.0 I tried to run the software update on the driver page. It took me to the HP site, but it wasn't working right. I think I may have gotten the issue resolved. I have restarted twice now and it seems to have connected both times. I don't know what the issue was, but whatever it was seems to have resolved itself. Go Figure. If it appears again, I will post to this thread. Thanks for your help |
