| | Network Printing in VIsta I have solved most of my Vista problems except the one which is the most anoying. I run a small network with 5 XP Pro machines on it. I recently upgraded the one with 2 printers(HP Laserjet 3030 and Epson C82) connected to it to Vista Ultimate x64. I was very impressed that bothe printers installed on the Vista machine and worked well. The problem came when I wanted to install these printers on the XP Pro machines. You can see the printers - no problem, but when you try to install it it ask for drivers. I tried to point it to downloaded drivers without any luck. Please help! |

| | Re: Network Printing in VIsta You need to install the x86 Vista drivers onto the x64 machine in order for the x86 XP clients to connect. Do you have an x86 Vista machine on your network? That's where the x86 print drivers can be installed from onto the x64 machine. -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;[ln];kbhowto This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
