Vista - Epson C42+

I am trying to install my Epson C42+ onto my Vista laptop. According to the
Epson site all I need to do is plug this printer in and it will guide me
through the set up process. This it did but will not print a test page and
will not change so that my Epson printer is the default. The default remains
as Microsoft XPS Document Writer no matter how many times I try to change it!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try uninstalling and reinstalling....

(written for XP but same procedure for Vista)

One PS.... when did it last print correctly? Epson printers are notorious
for clogging their print heads.
