| | Scanner problems I use an HP psc 1315 xi. With XP, Microsoft Office Tools would allow me to scan and convert the file created to a word file. Hence I could manipulate the document as needed. This option is not found on the Vista os. How can I use Windows fax and scan to be able to do this once again? I simply want to be able to Scan documents and place them in Word so I can make needed changes. |

| | Re: Scanner problems Office Tools is a part of Office, and is not a part of Vista. I don't have Fax & Scan, but I do have Office 2003 installed, and I can scan & OCR to Word with Microsoft Office Document Imaging.
