| | Print Spooler problems, tried all the fixes listed and no dice... Hi folks, I have been attempting to print to ANY of the 3 printers I have and have tried the various suggestions detailed in other threads without any joy. Canon Lasershot LBP-1120. Downloaded new driver which says Vista, tried to print...spooler crashed. HP Coloursmart 8230. Downloaded HUGE driver files which say Vista, tried to print...spooler crashed. Canon MP160, was happily using it and now it won't work. Downloaded new drivers which say Vista, no joy. I am coming to the conclusion that it is the Canon Lasershot, but honestly...the driver file says Vista so what's the big deal. I am rapidly losing enthusiasm for Vista after a promising beginning. Any help would be very much appreciated and will result in me saying numerous nice things about you to people on the street. Mike |

| | RE: Print Spooler problems, tried all the fixes listed and no dice... Update...the problem seems to be the Canon Lasershot, despite me having downloaded the Vista Drivers, it is the printer which refuses to work... I am going to contact Canon, but given that the drivers download says "Vista" I really can't see it progressing. Anyone with the same printer or cunning suggestions??
