Vista - HP DCS Device Host has stopped working, anyone suggest a fix?

Hi there,

Vista Ultimate and HO 2550L loaded HP's Easy Printer Care for Vista and keep
getting the following message HP DCS Device Host has stopped working.

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is available. This message pops up
at least 3 times at boot up?

Any ideas what is causing this and a fix?

HP would need to debug the failure and code a solution.
