| Guest | Recipient company feild for WSF coverpages Ho do I insert a field for recipients company in WFS cover page editor? Only two feild options appear for me in cover page editor under the Insert/Recipient menu - Recipient Name, and Recipient Number. This must be possible - it would have to be a pretty fundamental omission! Who would ever address a fax to someone in a company without also showing at least the recipients company name ? Or vica versa, who would send fax to company name, without specifying the specific recipient? Not a very professional look & no obvious way for an unintended recipient/ organization to tell whether the fax has been sent to wrong number if fax has only a single contact field to go on! I am sure |

| Guest | Re: Recipient company feild for WSF coverpages You can insert any text box you want on a custom cover page. If you want an autopopulated field, there are no other options for that. It is worthwhile remembering that WFS is still just a simple fax program developed for home use, not business use. That was the target audience for which it was developed, and the developers did a very good job of improving it for that audience. That's what makes it so ironic that the marketers at Microsoft pulled the app from its target audience and made it available only to the group that has little to no use for it. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "ArchPrime" <ArchPrime@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:67248F2C-E8F3-48C2-8452-87BF71C1CEC5@microsoft.com... > Ho do I insert a field for recipients company in WFS cover page editor? > > Only two feild options appear for me in cover page editor under the > Insert/Recipient menu - Recipient Name, and Recipient Number. > > This must be possible - it would have to be a pretty fundamental omission! > > Who would ever address a fax to someone in a company without also showing > at least the recipients company name ? | Guest | Re: Recipient company feild for WSF coverpages Hi - thanks for that (sigh) Looks like I will have to follow the crowd over to Snappy Fax (which also seems to largely solve the inability to see the Outlook address book issue for 64 bit Vista users) Cheers "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: > You can insert any text box you want on a custom cover page. | Guest | Re: Recipient company feild for WSF coverpages If you do, I'd be interested to know what features Snappy Fax provides that WFS does not. I don't have time to play with third party apps, but I am interested in whether there is actually anyone out there that can fill the void the marketing geniuses at Microsoft have created. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "ArchPrime" <ArchPrime@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news 51AD7EA-79D0-44F1-BCBA-74209308265D@microsoft.com...> Hi - thanks for that > > (sigh) Looks like I will have to follow the crowd over to Snappy Fax > (which > also seems to largely solve the inability to see the Outlook address book > issue for 64 bit Vista users) > > Cheers > > "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: > >> You can insert any text box you want on a custom cover page.
