Vista - printer cable

i have an hp psc 500 printer copier scanner. my new puter only has usb ports.
can i looked for a cable to go from 25 button to usb. can't find in stores
but c 1 on e-bay that looks like it will work. can i buy cable and dl driver
and print and scan.

If you mean an HP PSC 500/500xi All-in-One, HP does have drivers for
Vista on their website but they seem to only be for the USB connection.
From what I can see on the printer manual, it does look like that
printer has a USB connection as well as the parallel port one. If this
is the case, then just use the USB connection - buy a USB printer cable
and download the drivers for the printer from HP.

If your printer doesn't have a USB connection on the back, you'd be
better off simply replacing the printer. There is no guarantee that a
USB-to-parallel port adapter will work.
