| | Maximum Print size, (200 Inch Limitation) Currently Windows NT has a maximum print size of 200 Inches by 200 Inches. Has this page size restriction been increased or removed in Windows Vista? This limitation prevents the creation of files, such as PDF's, tiff & jpeg's larger than 200 inches. See excerpt from Adobe's web site: Distiller 5.x supports the creation of PDF files with pages up to 200 inches by 200 inches in size. Due to a limitation with page size storage in Windows 95 and 98, the actual maximum page size will be limited to 129 inches by 129 inches. The maximum page size for Windows NT and for Mac OS is still 200 inches by 200 inches.[268654] http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/micr...8111&stateId=0 0 53724809 We currenlty use third party software to plot hard copy drawings 36 inch by 300 inch and would like to make PDF files of the print output. The drawing is truncated at 200 inches in Windows XP. =-( Can Vista help us on this topic? |
