Vista - HP 2710 All in One

All in one my butt, more like all crap. But anyways, here is my issue that
HP can't/won't fix.

I installed Vista and updated my computer drivers from HP. Now, everytime I
try to fax from the computer to the fax machine, I get a error that states
"the fax scan has failed" and then it doesn't work. Funny thing is, I can
scan and fax from the unit itself and it works fine. Another note is that in
the faxing program inside HP Total Care program, the box that says cover
sheet is missing. Not sure if that plays into it, but it is gone.

Now, problem two, I have my printer networked, through the router, which has
worked great untill recently. Everytime i goto the my computer area, my
printer freaks out and starts blinking all its light and doesn't work
anymore. I have attempted to remove and reinstall the drivers to get it to
work without luck.

Anyone have these issues and if so, anyone know how to fix them.

If I understand this correctly, you may be running into the fact that
some scanners will not scan over a network.
