| | install printer drivers I have a printer that is connected to a Windwows 2000 server and is shared. However, I am trying to connect a Vista Premium Home laptop to that printer. I have no problems connecting, but the drivers aren't correct. On one Vista laptop I connected and downloaded the vista driver and installed the program that came with the printer. I then was able to update the driver. I tried connecting a second Vista laptop and just connected and went to update the driver. When I go in on the printers setting on the Vista laptop - I don't see update drivers unless I have print job holding. Without a job the update driver is grayed out. The drivers I need are actually included with Visata. Some how I got the second computer working. How can I at the point that it says install driver get it to let me manually choose my driver. Is this due to UAP and what is that? |
