| | Where is Vista Fax Console In XP I had fax console. Where is it in Vista. I have been all through the program files and don't see it. Does this self install with the installation of Vista, or must I add it from the installation DVD. There also seems to be something called windows fax and scan, but Ican't find that either. Please advise Phil |

This is a common practice in the entertainment industry such as cable TV. The practice is designed to entice you to buy the next greater level. You also have to consider the problem of offering a feature, making sure it’s totally compatible and then having to offer support, all free. Keep in mind, we are talking about a profit making company. Lastly, FAX is not part of an operating system. Unbundling makes sense. -- Regards, BobF.
