Vista - Printing,and or photo copying

I just got a new laptop with windows vista...turion 64 and a all in one
printer 946 from dell.....I have made a photocopy one time before but now the
paper feeds crooked and jams,but when I print a test page all is well and the
paper feeds fine,please help,any suggestions will be greatly apriciated

If the printer is still under guarantee, send it back and get the feed
rollers cleaned and sorted.

It just came out of the box, printed 2 test pages, photocopied 2 pages and
printed one color photo, do you think the rollers are the problem even if it
is brand new? Oh by the way, thanks for the help, i need as much as I can
get....

It has to be mechanical as Cari has pointed out, get the supplier to take
responsibility and fix or replace the printer.

Check what the Dell website says under trouble shooting on making sure
you have removed all the packaging material (it often includes little
bits and pieces jammed in here and there to stop parts moving during
shipment) and also what they say about how to clear say a torn piece of
paper trapped in the paper path.
