HP 6180 printing

When sending file to wireless printerthe icon comes on system tray but
nothing ever happens. Everything is connected printer, shows ready and
active, even print queue shows somethng to print but nothing happens. HP says
corrupted software, uninstallled and reinstalled 3 times. However when i turn
off computer and turn it back on the last thing sent to the printer will
print. Also if i type in notepad it will print immediately but nothing else
will. MS office, works, adobe PDF files nothing will work from this Vista
computer. 2 xp computers work fine.
any help will be appreciated.
