Vista - ink level

ink level

my printer (epson stylus DX3800) is in need of changing one of the ink
cartriges but i dont know which one as i dont have hte levels of the ink. how
can i do to see the ink level ? coz on windows xp i had the ink level and on
windows vista i dont

Advanced features such as ink levels are provided by the printer
drivers. Go to Epson's site for your printer and see if there are
updated Vista drivers. If there are, then download and install them. If
there are not, then all you have are the basic drivers which came with
Vista and you are out of luck.

If you open the top cover to expose the ink cartrdiges and press the ink button
the carriage should move to the centre where there is normally a little "ink
out" sign and a notch which will point at any cartridge that is empty or low.
