Vista - Using Scanner Wizard with Vista and HP Scanners

I have HP scanners with my desktop, none of which have software that works
with Vista so I am only able to scan documents using the Windows Scanner
Wizard. When I attempt to scan, the only document format available is a .tif
file format. I prefer to scan to a .pdf format. Is there any way to get the
scanner wizard to scan to a .pdf format? Absent that, is there an
alternative scanner software that would work?

Did you try to scan directly into Acrobat?
