| | Removal of old software I had an HP all-in-one printer, etc. I thought I had removed all the old software, but I have a newer all-in-one and the software for it will NOT install properly. When I try to uninstall manually by finding parts of the older software under C:/programs/HP, it says I don't have permission. Any way to totally uninstall an old software program? I have Windows Vista Ultimate - preinstalled on my 3 month old HP media centre computer. |

| | Re: Removal of old software Thanks - I checked but for some reason, they don't have an uninstall program for that particular model of printer. Will try to uninstall and reinstall the new one once again. I can still see part of the HP Solutions Centre from the old one and I cannot remove it as it still says I don't have permission. If I'm not allowed to remove it off my own computer, who is?? Peculiar.
