| | Vista won't print until user logs off Hello, My mother is having a problem with printing from her computer. She is using Windows Vista Home Basic. The printer is an Epson Stylus Photo R300 connected directly to her computer. When we send a print job to the printer, it does not print right away. We can look into the print que and see it, the first one in line claims to be printing. However, no printing actually happens until the user logs off from Vista. Once the user logs off, all of the print jobs go to the printer and print well. It does not seem to matter what application sent the first job - Explorer, Excel, Word, any of them seem to get jammed in the print que until the user logs off. We have also tried using a Brother laser printer with the same results. Is there a toggle box somewhere that holds print jobs like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is most frustrating. Many thanks, Lori |
