| Guest | HP Printer issue I have an HP OfficeJet 7310, laptop with Windows Vista Business and am using it over a peer to peer network. It's worked fine until recently when the printer icon has disappeared from the printers folder. The printer is a all-in-one and the HP OfficeJet 7310 series fax printer is still there. It's happened on 2 different computers, both using Windows Vista Business version, 32 bit. Has there been a driver update that could have caused this problem? There is an System Event ID 3 that the printer was deleted. If it happened on only one system, I would say it is user error, but it happened on 2 different systems. Any ideas? -- Mike O. |

| Guest | Re: HP Printer issue If the HP CUE Discovery software is running, the printer will be deleted if the network status changes. | Guest | Re: HP Printer issue Thanks Alan. I uninistalled all the HP software, reinstalled the application. It found the network printer OK and then I disabled the HP CUE Discovery service. I'll let you know weekly if it works. -- Mike O. "Alan Morris [MSFT]" wrote:
