Vista - Lexmark 6100 Series - Any solutions yet?

To what is the 6170 attached?

If it's on an XP PC, have you tried:

If it's all networked correctly, what happens when you try an add a
networked printer called

\\XPPC\Lemark where XPPC is the shared name of the XP PC and Lexmark is
the shared name of the Lexmark printer?

I'm trying like so many others to get my Lexmark 6170 to receive files from
a new laptop that has Vista. I've read some of the previous post and wonder
if anyone has had any luck finding a driver that will work for more than a
couple of days.
