When we try to print from laptop after coming out of hibernation and
printing to desktop networked printer. Restarting desktop resolves problem.
checked print spooler service and it is set to automatic and running when
problem occurs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Patrick.

Re: Vista print spooler not working.

You have a corrupted printer driver in there somewhere.

Uninstall the printer on the notebook...... and then on the Desktop. Then
reinstall on the desktop and when it's working correctly, then reinstall on
the notebook.

Re: Vista print spooler not working.

Did as you said now works great. Noticed when I had the problem that there
was no indication that the job wasn't printing, if you did a print test it
would say print spooler not working. It would be nice to get that message on
the print job. Also there was no indication of this as a solution in the
help docs.
Thanks for the help, Patrick.
