Printer Removal in Vista? Help

I tried to print something in Vista but it wouldn't print. Now it shows a
pending print job that won't cancel or delete. I've tried to cancel all jobs,
delete the job, delete the entire printer. Nothing works. Any advice. It's
Vista Home Ultimate.

Did you try deleting the document after stopping the print spooler?

Not sure. What does "stopping the print spooler" mean?

Open an elevated command window (right click on cmd.exe and "Run as
Administrator"), then type:

net stop spooler

to restart the spooler:

net start spooler
