Vista - Control Panel/Printer/Windows Aero/Personalize Error

I discovered this problem when I tried to print a document. It would tell me
that i could not print. The computer was not able for whatever reason to
print to my printer although it was obvious that it could still see it. Not
much later i found that when i clicked the control panel a blank screen would
open for a second and then disappear. I searched on the internet and found

Other people also experienced problems with Aero and Personalize, and upon
inspection i had the same problems. I really don't know what to do besides
re-install windows. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

I'm having this same exact problem there is a patch apparently, but MS
wont send it out, they're being weak about it. They tell me I'm not
providing enough information.

If it's a hotfix you must CALL them and ask for it. A link for the hotfix
will be emailed to you if it's deemed you need it.

It's sad when people experience issues like this and out of 3 times
contacting them they pointed me to their $59 live tech support. I went
back to XP their support is ridiculous.
