| | Re: why has my security centre stopped Type services in the start menu search field. Double click on Services that comes up. Find the Security Center service on the list and double click on it. If it isn't set on Automatic then do so and then start the service. For some reason (maybe because of Norton) mine is set to Automatic (Delayed Start).
