| | Windows Firewall Problem Every time I boot up my Vista Home Premium machine Windows Firewall is turned off. I have to manually turn it on EVERY time I boot up. It doesn't matter if the WIFI I'm using is set for "Public" or "Private". How do I change the Windows Firewall settings to turn on the firewall regardless of the type of WIFI connection I'm using? |

Could it be due to one of the security updates ? dtrhinke "Malke" <notreally@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:uF4ImPLFIHA.1168@xxxxxx Quote: > Cal Bear '66 wrote: Quote: >> If you are using Windows Live OneCare, it disables the native Vista >> firewall and uses it's own firewall. >> >> >> I Bleed Blue and Gold >> GO BEARS! >> >> >> "John" <noneya@xxxxxx> wrote in message >> news:505C4E79-B83E-49E3-BA87-65DE6820DA95@xxxxxx Quote: >>> Every time I boot up my Vista Home Premium machine Windows Firewall is >>> turned off.
