| | Admin access to Vista Registry Remote & locally in Admin Approval On my Vista machine which has Admin Approval mode enabled for administrators, the Behavior of UAC prompt is set to Prompt for credentials. I'm using a Domain Administrator account. When accessing the Registry locally, the UAC prompt for credentials, pops up before I can access the Registry. When connecting to the Vista registry remotely from a non-Vista machine, are the same registry keys & values available as the ones accessible when using regedit locally on the Vista machine? Is there a difference in the keys/values accessible when accessing the Registry remotely/locally ,when 'Prompts for credentials' is the behavior of the UAC prompt for administrators? |
