| | Bitlocker not encrypting? I am having an issue where once I got bitlocker set up, my key saved, and I restart to do the test and to start encryption it stays at 0%. I am running two 160 gig WD sata2 drives on an asus crosshair motherboard using the 590SLI chipset. I am not sure what is causing this and can't seem to find any answeres on the web. Hoping someone can help me here. Thanks |

| | Re: Bitlocker not encrypting? William: If you have BitLocker setup on a raid array, encryption will stay at 0% but the partition won't be visible to XP (with a dual boot system). BitLocker works properly on WD SATA2 hard drives with 160GB, 320GB and 500GB sizes in a non raid on systems that I'm running. Have a great day. -- Dennis Pack XP x64 SP2, Vista Enterprise x64 Office Professional Plus 2007 "william" <william@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:3490E342-15F3-4E8A-BAB7-EE2577194659@xxxxxx Quote: >I am having an issue where once I got bitlocker set up, my key saved, and I > restart to do the test and to start encryption it stays at 0%. | | Re: Bitlocker not encrypting? Dennis, According to MS Bitlocker will work on raid arrays. I am not sure though what is causing this issue. I know it isn't the drives, although I am thinking of pointing my fingers at NVIDIA. I think maybe their drivers for my raid controller are the cause, but I am not 100% sure.
